About

I’m a composer, arranger and bassist based in Japan. For more than ten years I’ve written and arranged songs for anime, VTubers, voice actors and J-pop artists — including an insert song for the TV anime Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club — and recorded bass for games such as FIGHTING EX LAYER and Arcaea.

I started on electric bass in a high-school rock band, playing blues-rock, then moved into jazz after discovering Weather Report, Jaco Pastorius and Herbie Hancock. That background shapes the groove and harmony in everything I make.

Meeting composer and arranger 高田暁 (Takada) led me to start working as a composer and arranger. Writing “タイムマシーン” for Nanamori of Strawberry Prince was the start of my work as a lyricist.

I also release beat-driven tracks under the name ANSUI.
